If something has happened to you or someone you know online or in a virtual place or space that is harmful it is important you contact Netsafe.

You can get information and support or make a report online. There are a variety of ways you can contact Netsafe for online safety help and advice. Visit netsafe.org.nz 

If you’re in danger or a crime is being committed, call 111 immediately and 105 for non Police emergencies.

Netsafe Helpline

Netsafe’s contact centre is available 7 days a week from 8am – 8pm weekdays and 9am – 5pm weekends and public holidays.  Our Peak periods are between 10am and 2pm each day. 

Netsafe Chatbot Kora

You can ask questions of our chatbot Kora from any page on our website in the bottom right hand corner of the website 24/7. The chat bot is a good first port of call to see if it can answer your question. Every day through more interactions the chat bot is improving its ability to answer online safety questions.
