This website provides schools and educators with everything they need to manage their online safety programme. It has been designed to help schools find solutions that integrate into their current online safety, citizenship and wellbeing practices.
Netsafe has developed resources to assist schools and kura at every stage – from urgent assistance responding to online incidents, classroom and community engagement, and long-term, strategic planning.
For schools looking to review and implement a complete online safety programme, we recommend joining the Netsafe Schools Programme. To join, register for a My Kit account and complete the Netsafe Schools Review Tool.
The Netsafe team also offers online safety support and consultancy for managing incidents, planning and setting strategy, and presenting to the school community.
Workshops & Presentations
The Netsafe Education Services Team works strategically with leaders and staff in schools and kura to develop and implement school-wide strategies to promote online safety, citizenship and wellbeing. We can also facilitate sessions online via video conference or face-to-face in schools.
