About Hector's World?
Hector’s World is a fully owned subsidiary of Netsafe New Zealand.
Hector’s World was first created by Netsafe in 2007 and has been educating and entertaining children around the world since then.
In 2024 we re-imagined Hector’s World to bring the characters and storyline up to date with today’s digital climate and to make sure the online challenges and issues in the series relate to kiwi tamariki today.
Today, Hector's World is a series of seven animated episode, available in both English and te reo Māori, exploring relevant educational topics in a fun and entertaining way.

Who is Hector's World for?

Hector's World for schools
As well as being available for whānau to enjoy and learn from within the home, Hector's World is also a comprehensive programme available freely to all primary schools and kura across New Zealand.
The series is accompanied by a wide range of classroom and teacher resources including lesson plans, worksheets, group activities and take-home resources.
